This piece is inspired by the underground beauty found in Malaysian caves. Venturing into theses caves was once upon a time my favorite spot to hike and hide. The captivating rock structures and intricate details of caves inspired me; this piece is dedicated to the beauty of nature. The sodium bicarbonate homemade textures is carved using a special knife to make it look like cave formations one can find in Rock Shelter and Solutional Cave. Then it’s layered with the three theme colors: black white and gold. The reminiscence of these magnificent structures pushed me to name It the “Golden Cave”.
