Once an expat, always an expat: My own curse... I wanted to portray some principles I gathered from living abroad, experiencing different ways of life, different cultures and nationals. I understood a long time ago that no matter our common species, there are some boundaries, be it cultural, religious, historical or even physical we cannot cross. It is pervasive, relentless and downright depressing sometimes. While in this train of thought, I started drawing the lines, alternating shapes and colours. The colour spread and various shapes represent the overpowering diversity I found. Lines, trivially, represent the boundaries.
